Kids become scientists for the day in our new interactive exhibit, Science + You. Designed as a real-life -- but child-sized -- laboratory, Science + You lets children explore how the work that scientists do helps us stay healthy. Play the antibody game, cook up some healthy "soup," try your hand at measuring in the glove box, use different types of scientific "equipment" just like real researchers, and more! The exhibit will be at the EcoTarium until April 27, 2014.
Science + You was created by Kohl Children's Museum of Greater Chicago, and is presented in conjunction with scientists at AbbVie, the global biopharmaceutical company. The exhibit is sponsored locally by FLEXcon and Worcester Regional Transit Authority.
Free with EcoTarium admission ($14 adults, $8 children 2-18, $10 seniors 65+ and students with ID), free for Members and children under 2
Museum hours: Open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 AM-5:00 PM and Sunday 12 PM-5:00 PM.
The EcoTarium is closed on Mondays, and on New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
