For its fifth year, The Mary Baker Eddy Library's holiday show, "Caring for Christmas," shifts from a historical to a contemporary focus, highlighting the spirit of caring in our community and throughout the world. In song, verse, and story, the production looks back at a year that was both about "Boston Strong" and "Boston Tender," and about a world drawn together in its hopes and promise, as well its challenges. Songwriters, musicians, choruses, and ensembles from two Boston youth organizations, Zumix, and Cellos 352, along with local actors, will reflect a new generation of voices, visions, and virtuosity in celebrating the season and the community. Admission to this event is by donation to a local charity. From 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., representatives from Rosie's Place and The Mass Coalition for the Homeless will be onsite to talk about their work and accept donations. Cello 352 will also perform for us in the Atrium at this time.
