New Year's Eve 2014 brings another opportunity to enjoy fun activities and multicultural performances at The Mary Baker Eddy Library! Throughout the day, families will find several activities to keep their kids involved and excited, including winter-themed arts & crafts and crown making for the city-wide parade. Visit the world-famous Mapparium and enjoy hot drinks and cookies! You won't want to miss performances by local musicians: * At 12:30 p.m., hear the Chinese Dulcimer Guzheng Youth Band; a talented group of youth musicians whose mission is to promote Chinese instrumental music and culture in the US and to improve children's appreciation of Chinese music and their performance skills. * At 3:30 p.m, Veronica Robles, a media personality and traditional mariachi entertainer and educator takes the stage for an unforgettable performance. Known affectionately by fans as La Mera, Mera (The Real One), Veronica is widely recognized as the most authentic representative of Mexican music and culture in New England. See you on New Years Eve!
