Join us in kicking off the Holiday Season at our "Moya Brennan Irish Christmas" Benefit Concert at Cotuit Center for the Arts! This event assists families living with A.L.S. and the fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease. Moya's Christmas release, An Irish Christmas (coming soon to PBS) is a Celtic-inspired album of classic and contemporary songs and carols such as Silent Night, In the Bleak Midwinter, In Dulci Jubilo and Joy to the World. Moya Brennan (widely considered the First Lady of Celtic Music) brings the unique atmosphere of her music with a specially produced seasonal show of celebration and reflection. Moya will draw not only on a rich selection of traditional Irish and European Christmas songs and carols but also her enticing repertoire of well-known solo and Clannad songs. She will be joined by her talented band (including world-renowned harpist Cormac De Barra) in a show that will warm the heart and carry the spirit and message of the season to her audience. We held a similar event with Moya Brennan at this venue in 2012 and it was sold out with over 200 attendees! We're looking forward to a great turnout once again. Ticket price is $38.50 per person for those wishing to attend the show AND the meet and greet cocktail reception with the artists after the concert, and $28.50 per person for the show only. Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation, Inc. a non-profit dedicated to raising funds to help local patients and their families living with Lou Gehrig's Disease. Member pricing is not available for this event.
