Travel back in time to experience the Skinner mansion at the turn of the 20th century. Find out about members of the Skinner family, their servants and experience the household as it ran on a day-to-day schedule - from making beds to dinner etiquette! Using objects from the past, kids will discover what everyday life was like as a young master or miss and they will explore the "behind-the-scenes" life of working servants. Participants will learn how to read an artifact from the past through hands-on exploration. This program introduces today's youth to life in a household manor, comparing and contrasting upper class and working class as well as the different roles each played. For ages 7 & up. Admission $7, pre-registration is required
