Old Sturbridge Village will celebrate the birth of our nation on July 4 with a full day of festivities including a patriotic citizen's procession, a reading of the Declaration of Independence (you can even sign a giant reproduction of the document), 1830s-style "base-ball," as well as OSV's other regular activities. Finally, the day will conclude with one of the area's largest displays of fireworks. Food and beverage, including beer and wine, are available for purchase so that you can enjoy a picnic on the Village Common.
