    Old Sturbridge Village will celebrate the history of Valentines in America the weekend of February 8 -9 by displaying antique cards and demonstrating how chocolate was made using 19th-century recipes. Visitors can also learn about Esther Howland, who pioneered the commercial Valentine industry in nearby Worcester, Massachusetts. Old Sturbridge Village is offering a Kids Free on Winter Weekends promotion through March 30th. Children 17 and under get in free during weekends when accompanied by an adult paying full-priced admission.
