Visit the Museum for free! Free timed tickets will be available at the Museum entrance on Friday, August 23 starting at 11 am. To ensure that everyone's experience at the Museum is pleasant, tickets are timed for entry every thirty minutes beginning at 11 am, with the last entry at 4 pm. Tickets will be distributed until Museum capacity for the entire day is reached, so the ticket(s) you receive may be for a time slot an hour or two later than you arrive. Admission includes access to the entire museum. PROGRAM Education Studio and Greenhouse Classroom Hands-on artmaking activities for families with children and walk-in visitors. Courtyard Sketch flowers, plants and architecture around the courtyard in the historic building, or pick up information on a self-guided scavenger hunt to identify objects throughout the galleries. Introduction to the Gardner Museum Talk | On the half-hour from 11:30 to 3:30 A 20-minute talk on the history of the Museum, the life of Isabella Gardner, and connections between the new wing and the historic building. Exhibition: Composite Landscapes Composite Landscapes examines one of landscape architecture's most recognizable representational forms: the montage view. The exhibition gathers work from a select group of influential contemporary artists and a dozen of the world's leading landscape architects.
