Carl Rollyson is the first Plath biographer to draw from the Ted Hughes archives, which include letters between Plath and Hughes as well as a host of unpublished papers. Rollyson paints a new picture of Plath as a powerful force that embraced high and low culture to establish herself in the literary firmament. This lecture is sold out. However, we are offering special tickets for a simulanteous audiocast in the room adjacent to the Stable auditorium. Patrons will be able to attend the tea and book signing following the lecture. Price: Members $5, General $10. No visuals will be available during the audiocast. For tickets, please call (413) 551-5100.
