Steve Hartmann started at age 12, taking classical piano lessons. After picking up a hand-me-down guitar from his mother at age 15, quite contented with just playing for a few friends and having music just to be an emotional hobby for him, Steve finally gave in to all the requests of finding a "real" show. Since then, it's been a passion bordering on addiction. Remembered everywhere he plays as them an with that ethereal voice and alluringly familiar songs, Steve continues to feed his addiction with a new born passion after taking a break from the road to pursue other ventures. http://www.stevehartmannmusic.com/ Douglass' evocative, alternative sound blends "Rufus Wainwright´s opulent musicality and Justin Timberlake´s accessible soulfulness," according to OUT Magazine. His recent spotlight on NPR's "Morning Edition" has coined him "one of New England's best-kept secrets." Douglass has shared the stage with artists like They Might Be Giants, Shawn Colvin, The Weepies, Jason Mraz, Regina Spektor, and Margaret Cho. Douglass' 2009 release BATTLER features duets with friends and fellow Vermonters Grace Potter (Grace Potter & The Nocturnals/ Hollywood Records) and Anais Mitchell (Righteous Babe Records), and he is currently touring in support of his latest release, LUCID, a dream-themed concept album, and ode to Kate Bush. http://www.gregorydouglass.com/fr_squeezepage.cfm Tickets: $13 for Passim members, $15 for non-members
