    Meet a Big Brown Bat from North America; encounter fruit bats from Africa and Asia, and come face-to-face with a Flying Fox Bat from Malaysia (the largest bat in the world) with a six-foot wingspan. Rob Mies, conservation biologist, bat expert, and executive director of the Organization for Bat Conservation, will present the live bats and discuss the mysterious world of bats, explain their lives, habitats, and nocturnal activities, as well as what can be done to help these unique mammals. $15 adult ($5 members); $8 child ($3 members). Includes Museum admission. Tickets are available in advance by calling 413.443.7171 ext. 10. Members Priority Seating! Starting 30 minutes before the performance, members enjoy early access to the theater for special performances. General seating begins 15 minutes before curtain.
