Tour of Church of the Transfiguration

The Church of the Transfiguration overlooks picturesque Rock Harbor in Orleans. The church offers guided tours every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m (closed Wednesday). This contemporary interpretation of an ancient basilican style of architecture combines intricate mosaics and frescos, sculpted stone, bronze and glass by local and international artists. On Fridays at 3:30 p.m., enjoy a demonstration on the landmark E.M. Skinner organ.
