Renaissance Drawing Techniques
$55 non-members, $45 members
The Renaissance period was a golden age for drawing. This technical practice grew to such esteem that artists vied to collect drawings by their peers. In this class, you will experiment with the same 15th Century techniques that produced the beautifully-considered drawings of the time. Workshop materials will closely approximate those used by Leonardo da Vinci and his contemporaries: pen and ink, compressed chalks, and tinted paper. Prerequisite: at least one previous drawing class.
