Renowned Brown University Political Science Professor Wendy Schiller will discuss all of the possible candidates for president in the 2016 election from the Republicans to Democrats to third party possibilities. She will assess each potential candidate's strengths and weaknesses in the context of platform, personality, organization, and fundraising. She will explain the nomination process for each major party and analyze the strategies that candidates will have to employ to win key primary and caucus states, and then how they will have to pivot for the general election.

Professor Schiller will place the 2016 election in historic, demographic, and political context as it compares to previous elections. She will also cover the ways in which the congressional elections for the U.S. House and U.S. Senate will interact with the presidential elections.
