All foods were cooked "from scratch" in the past. Come explore old cookbooks with our open hearth cooks and learn how to decipher historic "receipts" for some common late 18th-century dishes. We will feature seasonal ingredients like fresh herbs and asparagus that were welcome in the kitchen after a long, cold winter.
