ArcWorks Community Art Center's 2015 exhibition season continues with the exhibit, "Expanse: Studies in Landscape," opening on March 5, 2015, 5 - 7pm. The exhibition will be free and open to the public through April 18, 2015. This curated exhibit features works by four local North Shore artists working in painting, drawing and photography with a focus on landscape. "Expanse" refers not only to the physical quality of landscape subjects, but also to the emotional feeling that is often evoked by viewers observing landscape: a feeling of vastness, opportunity and wonderment. Each artist in this exhibit approaches the subject of landscape with a fresh eye and masterful technique. The four artists featured are Andrew Anderson-Bell, pastel painter; Leah Bokenkamp, photographer; Lisa Courtney, oil painter; and Daphne Dwyer, oil painter.
