An interactive exhibit, patrons will travel a route in the narrative of slavery. "Experience" in the series Legacies, Life & Liberty, focuses on key elements in the journey of slavery that were crucial to individuals on their quest north to freedom via the underground ground railroad. Through the museum's collection of varied art forms a story is told with participants decoding messages of songs, quilts, dolls and artifacts along the route from Macon, Georgia to abolitionist William Still in Pennsylvania and later arriving in Boston.
