This property owned by the Mass Division of Fisheries and Wildlife provides a window into the wetland world. Parking along the roadside here allows anyone the chance to observe many wetland species not easy observed elsewhere. The heron rookery is diminishing but he old nest have been used by Great Horned Owls and Double-crested Cormorants have been nesting there in recent years. Coyote, Moose, Otter are among the mammals one might be lucky enough to encounter.
