Description Overview: Who doesn't love a good Pub that serves some great Grub? This fun 3 hour tour highlights some of the Back Bay's best spots to grab a bite and a pint, and is a great way for tourists and locals alike to experience the city! Itinerary: Our first stop is TC's lounge, a hole in the wall off of Mass Ave that most people don't even know exists. We'll meet here to wet our whistles with a beer and play a few arcade games if you'd like. Next stop is this tour guide's favorite place to grab a bite, Bukowski's Tavern. In this famous hole in the wall you'll find etched mugs and snippets of prose for the bar's namesake (Charles Bukowski) lining the joint. With over 150 beers to sample from you may just have to let the barkeep spin the Wheel O Beer while you wait for the famous WhiteTrash Cheese Dip to arrive. To quote the man himself, " Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must live." We then stumble our way over to Whiskey's Smokehouse, where a platter of BBQ favorites await. This is the only place around that serves up BBQ Grub. Thankfully, they also have tons of flatscreen TVs with SportsCenter to drown out the sound of your waistband screaming at you to loosen the belt a bit! Last stop is a Fenway Favorite; the Lower Depths Tap Room. Famous for their hot dog special and beers of the world, it's a wonderfully low key place to wrap up a tour with some great grub in a great pub! Price Includes A guided tour into the coolest dive bars in the city Access to amazing beverages 3 "grub" food samplings History of the Back Bay Rules All guests must be 21 or over. Guests must pay for their own beer (sorry MA State Law, not mine). Food is included in the price so you'll leave full! Two of the bars are cash only (ATM's are in these bars if needed).
