Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities brims with excitement, thrills, and splendor in East Boston.

Steampunk style and vaudeville-esque melodies set the stage for acts that defy gravity and realism in Cirque du Soleil’s Kurios. Doing what Cirque does best – dazzle and amaze – Kurios blends incredible physical talents with unbridled creativity in East Boston (“Eastie”).

The story is loosely framed around the imagination of a quirky Seeker. In search of a secret, alternate world, he finds a mélange of characters who test the limits of human ability and wonder along the way. Contorting sea nymphs, a flying cyclist, upside-down balancing artists, and more outlandish feats take center stage in the intimate Grand Chapiteau.

Amidst the gasps and fervent applause of wide-eyed patrons, it’s easy to see why the troupe has such a winning reputation. Tickets for the show start at $35, and they’re offering a 20% discount on the purchase if you book through this link!

Suffolk Downs, nestled on the edge of Eastie and Winthrop, is home to the traveling performance through July 10th.

And there’s Winthrop Beach; an in-the-know spot with a laid-back vibe, perfect for escaping touristy crowds and soaking up some summer sun. Or channel your inner Magellan and take to the seas with a sailing class at Piers Park Sailing Center. The list goes on!
