Fresh seafood right off the boat.  Home-grown fruits and vegetables straight from the farm.  Fresh cheese and dairy products, craft beers and local wine.    Massachusetts is a moveable feast when it comes to fresh, healthy, locally-grown products.

The new Boston Public Market  recently opened to much fanfare. The market houses over 35 vendors selling locally produced items such as farm-fresh produce, meat and poultry, eggs, milk and cheese, fish and shellfish, bread and baked goods, flowers, and an assortment of specialty and prepared foods.
Here is a map of all farmers markets, fairs, and agricultural events in the Commonwealth.
Massachusetts is also proud of its craft breweries and wineries throughout the state, which rely on locally-grown products to produce delicious beverages that are distinctly Massachusetts.  And check out the Massachusetts Wine & Cheese Trail.
