With a brutal winter finally beginning to move into our rearview mirror, Boston’s spring restaurant week event, Dine Out Boston, is a most welcome arrival.
Thanks to the upcoming specials, Massachusetts residents and visitors will have the opportunity to make up for lost time (looking at you, Valentine’s Day), treating their friends, loved ones and their own taste buds to terrific food at a reduced price around the city.
After a February to forget, Dine Out Boston provides the perfect way to do just that, not to mention support local businesses.

For those who haven’t take part in it before, the way that Dine Out Boston works is simple. Participating restaurants choose one of three price options, which are prix fixe, and the chefs at each eatery prepare a menu for guests. This year, the dates for Dine Out Boston’s spring edition are March 1 – 6 and March 8 – 13.
In terms of the restaurants, foodies of every taste won’t have any trouble finding something for themselves. More than 150 Boston-area restaurants will be taking part in Dine Out Boston, serving up French, Italian, American, Asian and Argentinian dishes, along with everything in between.
Lunches will cost $15, $20 or $25, while dinner will run $28, $33 or $38. Reservations, which can be set up through the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau website, are strongly encouraged.

Beyond the basics, this year’s edition of Dine Out Boston has something special to offer. At each meal, diners can snap a photo of their tasty fare and then submit it for the chance to win a $100 gift card to one of the participating restaurants. From March 1 – March 14, the person who posted the photo that gets the most likes each day will take home the card.

Before or after grabbing a bite, deal seekers with the day to themselves might also play some Boston Bingo another way to support local businesses that features prize potential in the form of Bruins tickets or coffee with Mayor Walsh. To learn more about Boston Bingo, just click here.
