In a number of ways, planning a wedding is like staging a play. On opening night, the beautiful costumes are donned, the cast knows their lines and blocking, the props are in place, and the audience is invited to share a special moment in the lives of the couple. But what about the set – that one piece that brings it all together and frames this moment in time?

Finding the perfect set, or, in this case, wedding venue, can prove to be difficult.

In an earlier post, MassFinds assembled a list of 5 Picturesque North of Boston Wedding Spots. Here are 6 more wedding venues that capture the beauty, uniqueness, and diversity of the North of Boston region.

Located on a ledge overlooking picturesque Gloucester Harbor is Beauport, the Sleeper-McCann House.  Designed as a summer home by one of the first professional interior designers, Henry Davis Sleeper, Beauport offers a serene yet striking backdrop for an intimate outdoor ceremony.
